About the Institute of Physical Education and Sports:

The institute offers 9 undergraduate and 8 master's degree programs. There are 10 faculties, including the Uzbekistan-Belarus Joint Institute of Physical Education, Sports, and Tourism. In the Uzbekistan-Belarus Joint Institute, 48 undergraduate and 42 master's degree students are enrolled. Currently, the university has 25 departments, including master's, postgraduate, and special postgraduate departments. The university has 2 branches. In 2021, the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Research was established at the university. A total of 13,845 students (2,483 on state scholarships and 11,362 on contract basis) are currently pursuing their education at the university. In the daytime department, there are 7,305 students (2,351 on state scholarships and 5,613 on contract basis), and in the master's department, there are 392 students (46 on state scholarships and 346 on contract basis). There are 6,105 students studying in distance learning (86 on state scholarships and 6,019 on contract basis). 10,270 students studied in Uzbek language, 3,575 in Russian language. The university enrolled 14 foreign students.

Master's Programs:

Master's students are aimed at studying the topics of scientific research related to the theory and methodology of physical education of young students in specialized high and secondary education institutions, as well as the system of training highly qualified athletes. The scientific guidance of the master's dissertations is carried out by the leading professors of our university, as well as eminent mentors, coaches, sports leaders, and specialists in the field, both in our country and worldwide.
