Admissions at the “University of Business and Science” — 2024-2025!

Admissions for the academic year 2024-2025 have begun at the University of Business and Science. 200 tuition grants have been allocated for the daytime education program.

About the “University of Business and Science”

The “University of Business and Science” (UBS) has been operating since 2022 based on license №327588 issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations. UBS admits students in 34 undergraduate majors and 3 master's specializations.

Our university is currently among the leading non-state higher education institutions in the Republic of Uzbekistan, undertaking significant efforts to enter the internationally recognized TOP-1000 university rankings. In this regard, being among the top in non-state universities, a doctoral program has been opened, supported by the Ministry to enter the international university rankings.

Close to 10,000 students study in the university's two modern educational buildings, equipped with the latest technologies, modern lecture and seminar halls, and computer labs. Additionally, the university has a dining hall, an information resource center, a sports hall, and an events hall.

The university provides accommodation for students studying in the daytime education program.

About the University Diploma

The university diploma holds the same legal force as diplomas issued by state higher education institutions. In other words, the UBS diploma is directly recognized in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to Article 31 of the Law “On Education”.

Admission Procedure

The admission process for the 2024-2025 academic year at the “University of Business and Science” is as follows:

1. Submission of Documents: Applicants submit their documents to the university through the qabul.ubsu.uz website or the admissions commission. Document submission is entirely free for applicants, however, students who wish to transform their bachelor’s program to UBS are required to pay a registration fee of 350,000 sum. This fee is not charged for the difference in subjects created in the educational program by the university in order to provide benefits to students. In other words, no credit fee is required for subject differences.

2. Internal Examinations: Applicants participate in internal examinations organized by the university on specified dates.

3. Based on interview: Prospective students transferring to UBS are admitted based on interviews.

4. Based on UzBMB Results: It is possible to become a UBS student based on the results of state examinations. In this case, it is required for the applicant to have obtained a sufficient score for admission to the university.

5. Grant Selections: UBS announces grants worth several billion soums annually to support talented students. Grants are allocated for undergraduate education and are valid for 4 years. Grants are awarded to applicants with the highest scores in entrance examinations, and the list of students who have been awarded grants is announced on official websites after the completion of admission exams.

Entrance Examination Procedure

The entrance examinations for applicants are based on two specialized subjects approved by the Ministry, with each block consisting of a total of 60 test questions, 30 in each block.

For the first block, each correct answer is worth 3.1 points, and for the second block, each correct answer is worth 2.1 points. The maximum achievable score is 156 points, so if you score 60% or higher, you will be recommended for admission.

In addition to this, based on your results in state examinations, you may be admitted to the university without an examination.

Applicants who have IELTS or CEFR certification are exempted from entrance examinations and are directly admitted to the program.

Even those who have had disciplinary actions such as “Women's ledger, iron ledger, youth ledger” or those with misconduct may be admitted to the university without an entrance examination.

Exam results are sent in the form of SMS notifications within 2 working days after the exams.

About the Education Process

In the bachelor's program, according to the law, you will study for 4 years in daytime education and 5 years in distance education. In the pre-school education direction, daytime education consists of 3 years, while distance education consists of 4.5 years. The duration of study in the Master's program is 2 years, and in the doctoral program, it is 3 years.

To ensure the comprehensive development of students, the University of Business and Science provides quality education, enriched with scientific and literary resources at its Information Resource Center, which can also be accessed electronically.

At UBS, various olympiads and competitions are organized not only for students but also for school and college students.

The professors of the university consists of 70% of candidates of sciences.

The curriculum for subjects that meet international standards is developed by qualified specialists who meet international standards.

Our university has established partnerships with universities in Germany, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, as well as with the Global Testing International Education Standards Association and the Balcanic History Association.

For students in the daytime education program, 200 scholarships have been allocated, and separate semester grant programs have been launched for gifted students. Grants are also awarded to students in the distance education program.

Students undergo internships at foreign universities and prestigious organizations.

Those aiming to pursue a Master's degree are not required to provide language certificates. Obtaining a certificate is sufficient until completion of the program.

1) Namangan Region, Namangan city, Zarbdor MFY, located at 111 Beshkapa Street. (Reference: It is possible to reach it by taking a taxi from the Nestle gas station in the direction of the 21st market.)

2) Namangan Region, Namangan city, Obihayot MFY, at 5 Nodim Namangoniy Street. (Reference: Located near the regional hospital (oblast hospital), in the vicinity of the NTD building.)
