Surveying is a branch of mining science and technology; it studies the actual measurements at a natural object, as well as the shape and size of a pile of minerals in the earth's crust, the location of useful and harmful components in the earth's crust, the nature of self-preserving rocks, the spatial location of alloys, rock pressure arising during mining, and deformations of rocks on the earth's surface. The workflow is carried out using surveying instruments. The surveying data is synthesized on drawings, graphic documentation on mining, obtained by the method of geometric projections-yalar.
