Mechanics of a material point. To be able to describe the movement of a material point, it is necessary to determine its position at a certain moment. In the form of. Since a material point has no dimensions and therefore cannot be directed in one direction or another, these three numbers fully describe its state at any given moment time. If we consider them as functions of time t, then the function [x(t), y(t), z(t)] draws a trajectory that completely determines the movement of a material point in space. The main task of the dynamics of a material point is to find the dependence of x, y and z on t, taking into account the forces acting on the material point.
A mathematical model is an abstract model used for the mathematical interpretation of a system that explains a certain phenomenon and process through mathematical formulas and relationships. The simplest form of these models are linear regression formulas, which have the form y = b0+b.1
