Computer engineers research, design, develop, test, and oversee the manufacturing and installation of computer hardware, including computer chips, electronic boards, computer systems and keyboards, routers, and printers. Their work is similar to that of electronic engineers, as they can design and test schematics and other electronic components; however, computer technology engineers perform this only with computer-related hardware.
