Archaeology

Archaeology (Master’s Degree) — this is an advanced stage of the social sciences and humanities field, aimed at the in-depth scientific study of ancient and medieval societies. At this level, students master the methodology of archaeological research, methods of scientific analysis, field excavation practices, laboratory study of findings, and the skills required to formulate scholarly conclusions.

Graduates of the Master’s program in Archaeology may work in the following fields:

• Senior research fellow — conducting research in scientific research institutes.
• University lecturer — teaching archaeology and history courses in higher education institutions.
• Project leader or researcher — organizing and leading archaeological expeditions.
• Cultural heritage expert — protecting and evaluating historical monuments.
• Museum and archive specialist — working with historical artifacts and preparing their scientific documentation.
