Information systems and technologies (in networks and sectors) are an interconnected set of methods, tools and people used to collect, store, process and transmit information in order to achieve a set goal. Information technology is a process of changing information from one form to another, qualitatively new form, using a set of methods and means of collecting, processing and transmitting information.
