Technology of cultivation and processing of medicinal plants

Medicinal plants are herbs used for the treatment of humans and animals, the prevention of diseases, as well as in the food, perfume and cosmetics industries. It has been established that there are 10-12 thousand species of medicinal plants on Earth. The chemical, pharmacological and biological properties of more than 1,000 plant species have been studied. There are more than 700 species of medicinal plants in Uzbekistan. Of these, about 120 species of plants growing and cultivated in natural conditions are used in scientific and folk medicine.
