Philology and Language Teaching: French is a field within the social-humanitarian and pedagogical sciences that studies the structure, development, and teaching methodology of the French language. This program provides an in-depth analysis of French grammar, phonetics, vocabulary, and stylistics. Special attention is also given to studying French literature, culture, and the history of the language.

Graduates of the Bachelor’s Program in Philology and Language Teaching: French may work in the following professions:

• French language teacher — teaching French in schools, lyceums, and colleges (with a pedagogical certificate).
• Language center instructor — teaching French in private language centers.
• Translator — performing written and oral translations (with additional qualifications).
