Geology (by field of activity)

In the “Geology (by field of activity)” program, students study the structure, composition, and development processes of the Earth. They analyze the properties of rocks and minerals and learn methods for identifying underground resources such as oil, gas, and metal ores. Students also learn geological mapping, conducting field measurements, collecting samples, and performing laboratory analysis. They gain an understanding of geological processes such as earthquakes, volcanism, and erosion, while also studying the fundamentals of geophysics and geochemistry. Additionally, they acquire theoretical and practical skills for exploring, assessing, and efficiently developing mineral deposits.
