Hydraulics and engineering hydrology

Hydraulics is a science that studies the laws of equilibrium and conditions of motion of liquids and uses these laws to solve practical problems of hydraulic engineering. He deals with engineering issues such as hydraulic structures, hydraulic machines, drainage and irrigation of land, hydropower, hydromechanization, water supply and sewerage (previously, the main task of hydraulics was to study the movement of water in pipes).
