Master’s Degree: Mathematics (by specializations) — this graduate program is aimed at the in-depth study of both theoretical and applied areas of mathematics, as well as at developing advanced research, analytical, and modeling skills.

At the master’s level, students thoroughly study advanced algebra, mathematical analysis, probability theory and mathematical statistics, differential equations, numerical methods, mathematical modeling, and modern areas of applied mathematics. In addition, they develop skills in conducting scientific research, applying theoretical results to practical problems, and carrying out independent research work.

Graduates of the Master’s program in Mathematics (by specializations) can work in the following fields:

• University Lecturer — teaching at universities and higher education institutions.
• Researcher — conducting research in scientific institutes and research centers.
• Actuary — working in insurance and risk assessment.
• Financial Analyst — financial modeling and forecasting in banks and investment organizations.
