Metrology, standardization and product quality management is a specialist who evaluates product quality through special tests for compliance with the requirements of established technical and state standards. Its task is to conduct biochemical tests and assess the quality of agricultural products based on biochemical indicators; to determine the methods of storage and processing of products.

Metrology is the science of measurements, methods and means of ensuring their uniformity and ways to achieve the required accuracy.

Standardization refers to cases of activity aimed at achieving regulation in a certain area by establishing common and repetitive rules of application in relation to real and potential tasks. This activity is widely used in the development, publication and application of standards.
