About the direction
The digital economy is economic activity resulting from the connection of individuals, businesses, devices, information and operations through digital technologies. It includes online connections and transactions across multiple networks and technologies, including the Internet, mobile technologies, big data, and information and communication technologies.
The digital economy differs from the traditional economy due to its reliance on digital technologies, online transactions, and its transformative impact on traditional networks. Digital innovations such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality, blockchain, and autonomous vehicles will play an important role in creating a digital economy.
