Vegetable farming is a branch of agriculture that deals with the cultivation of vegetable crops. S. differs from other branches of agriculture in many ways, for example, in S., crops are grown in open and protected (closed) lands, most crops are grown in one season. Ska is divided into field and protected land (see Greenhouse, Greenhouse crops). Vegetable crops are grown in open areas (in spring and autumn) for vegetables and seeds, and in closed areas (regardless of the season) for vegetables. In protected areas, total factors for plant growth and development (for example, in greenhouses) are artificially created and can be controlled.
