About the direction
Heavy athletics is a type of sport that involves competing in various weight categories by lifting heavy objects. The exercises for increasing weight have been known since ancient times. Official competitions have been held since the 1860s. Currently, the main exercises in heavy athletics are considered to be weightlifting with both hands and raising a barbell. In weightlifting, the athlete performs one movement without stopping with the barbell, and in raising a barbell, they perform two continuous movements - first lifting it to the chest, and then raising it above their head. Heavy athletes are divided into 10 weight categories (from 52 kg to over 110 kg). The cost of daytime education is 12,627,170 so'm. Duration of daytime education - 4 years.
