Sport activity: sambo

Sambo is a sport type of wrestling. It is based on the most effective methods from the national types of wrestling. It originated in the USSR in the 1930s. Sambo includes both sport (kurash) and combat styles. In kurash, the wrestlers wear special jackets and shorts. In sambo, it is allowed to grab the opponent by the arms and legs, as well as make movements against the arms and legs, neck, and waist. If in sambo a wrestler manages to throw the opponent onto their back or uses a submission technique and the opponent recognizes their defeat, or if there is a difference in points of 12, the winning method is recognized and awarded by the referees.
