Become an international expert with a joint degree in Computer Engineering with Artificial Intelligence in cooperation with South Korea

The joint educational program is organized on the basis of a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Management and Future Technologies (UMFT, Uzbekistan) and Far East University (FEU, South Korea) in the field of Computer Engineering: Artificial Intelligence.

The main goal of the program is to create favorable opportunities for talented students and further improve their qualifications, language, knowledge, cultural and social skills.

The joint educational program is presented as an important opportunity for students to study in the field of Artificial Intelligence from a truly FEU perspective and serves as a basis for improving the curricula of partner universities.

The program allows university graduates to simultaneously receive a bachelor's degree from UMFT and FEU universities. Students who successfully complete the joint degree program will be awarded the following degrees by the partner universities:

UMFT: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence)

FEU: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with Artificial Intelligence

Graduates who successfully complete this joint degree program from the partner universities will be awarded a FEU diploma recognized in the Republic of Korea, as well as a UMFT diploma recognized in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Program Terms

The English-language joint bachelor's degree program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is organized on a 2+2 model. Students study the first two years at UMFT and the next two years at FEU.

A dual degree is awarded to a student upon completion of the program, subject to the following requirements:

• Accumulating at least 120 ECTS credits during the 2-year (1-4 semesters) study at UMFT,

• Accumulating at least 65 FEU credits during the next 2 years of study at FEU (5-8 semesters) is one of the main conditions of the agreement;

The joint educational program provides both an academic degree from an educational institution in Uzbekistan and an academic degree from a corresponding university in South Korea. A student who successfully completes the joint educational program will be provided with two diplomas, two transcripts of grades, and two diploma supplements, if any.

Students of the joint educational program must participate in additional courses like regular students and comply with the same legal regulations as students of other bachelor's programs.

Admission requirements

The selection of candidates for the joint educational program is carried out in accordance with the selection criteria jointly determined and agreed upon by UMFT and FEU.

The following requirements are set for studying in the joint program:

A diploma or document confirming graduation from school, lyceum or college.

English language proficiency ≥ B2 level (at least 5.5 IELTS)

If there is no language certificate, it is necessary to take the UMFT entrance exam

Tuition fees

All students must register online and pay tuition fees at the relevant university.

Tuition fees for two years of study at UMFT are made based on the payment procedure and amount established by UMFT.

Tuition fees for two years of study at FEU are made based on the payment procedure and amount established by FEU.

All amounts payable to UMFT are accepted in national currency (sums) to the bank account recommended by UMFT.

All amounts payable to FEU must be paid in US dollars to the bank account recommended by FEU.
