History

(History) Goal: To ensure that students acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills, as well as obtain and improve the competencies necessary to solve professional tasks in archaeology, ethnography, the history of Uzbekistan, and the history of foreign countries.

Where will I work?

Depending on the chosen profile and interests, certified historians can work in museums, research centers, tourist complexes, schools, and universities. Historian-researchers participate in archaeological excavations and archival research. Teachers develop methods for teaching history. Guides prepare programs for tourists. Museum staff systematize and study objects of historical and cultural heritage of a particular period or era.
