Purpose of (History): to acquire and develop the necessary competencies for students to master theoretical knowledge, practical skills, archaeology, ethnography, Uzbekistan history, and foreign country history to resolve professional issues and improve competencies.

Where will I work? Depending on the chosen specialization and interests, certified historians can work in museums, research centers, tourist sites, schools, and universities. Historians and researchers participate in excavations and archival research. Teachers develop methods of teaching history. Guides create programs for tourists. Museum staff organize and study the objects of a certain period or historical and cultural heritage.
