Telecommunication technologies

Telecommunication (tele... and communication) is a set of systems for transmission, reception and processing of signal, symbol, text, image, sound and other types of information. It is carried out using wire, radio, optical or other electromagnetic systems. A telecommunication network is a set of telecommunication equipment intended for transmission of one or more types, including telephone, telegraph, facsimile information and other document messages, inter-computer information exchange, television and radio programs.
