Automation and Management of Technological Processes and Production (Kazan Federal University) (2+3).

Technological process - is a system that consists of interconnected actions, which are performed by the performer until the desired results are achieved.

"Technological process" is a part of production, a part of the production process that involves purposeful actions aimed at changing and (or) determining the condition of the object of labor.

Almost any technological process can be considered as a more complex process and a collection of simple (elementary) technological processes.

Technological processes consist of "technological (working) operations", which, in turn, consist of "technological transitions".
