Transport Logistics (in terms of types of transport) (Belarus National Technical University) (1+1).

The department responsible for organizing the presentation is called Transport. The basics of transport logistics can be summarized in six main principles:

-Choosing an optimal transport regime for delivery;

-Selecting a transportation method;

-Choosing a carrier and negotiating contracts with other logistics partners;

-Creating delivery routes;

-Combining transport and storage processes;

-Optimizing parameters for the shipment handling process (reducing costs, increasing transport speed).
