Transport Vehicle Engineering: Automobile Transport (Ural State Transport University) (2+2, 2+3).

The purpose and task of the module "Alternative Propulsion Systems in Transport Vehicles" is to introduce students to the global issues in the field of transport vehicle engineering: the use of alternative propulsion systems in transport vehicles, classification of alternative propulsion systems and their efficiency, use of compressed and liquefied hydrocarbon gases, biofuels, alcohols, and hydrogen in transport vehicles, main directions of using gases and gas-powered propulsion systems, familiarizing with the operational characteristics of gas-powered propulsion systems, and developing knowledge and practical skills in addressing these issues based on the most modern technologies in the world, i.e. shaping their competence in this field.
