Foreign language and literature: english (Master's degree)

This master program is designed to train specialists in the field of cultural and interlinguistic communication, translation, and teaching English language. Graduates acquire a solid overall philological and linguistic background, which not only enables them to continue their studies in the chosen field in the future, but also provides them with the ability to successfully solve professional problems specific to their profession.

• During the program, students learn the theoretical and practical principles of teaching the English language and familiarize themselves with modern research in this field. They also learn and apply methods that help students effectively internalize the language and enhance their language proficiency;
• Students gain an understanding of the importance of English culture theories and principles in creating an effective learning environment for English language learners. They also develop the necessary practical skills. In the process of language learning, they learn about the nature and role of culture and cultural components, and understand the significant influence of cultural factors on language learning;
• Students learn how to develop and implement a curriculum, use evidence-based practices, and align their teaching methodologies with the standards for teaching English as a second language. They become familiar with instructional models, language learning strategies, and integrating strategies in the classroom. They also develop skills in effectively utilizing modern technologies for language instruction, selecting appropriate learning resources and materials for language learners.
