Literary Studies: Uzbek Literature

Master’s Degree: Uzbek Language and Literature — is a program within the social sciences, humanities, and pedagogical field aimed at in-depth study of the theoretical foundations of the Uzbek language, stages of its development, grammatical structure, phonetics, lexicon, stylisitics, as well as the scientific analysis of literature. This program pays special attention to the history of Uzbek literature, analysis of literary works, modern trends in linguistics, and methods of teaching the Uzbek language. During the course of study, master’s students acquire skills in conducting scientific research, writing academic articles, and organizing the educational process based on modern pedagogical technologies.

Graduates of the Master’s program in “Uzbek Language and Literature” can work in the following positions:

• University Lecturer — teaching Uzbek language and literature at universities and institutes.
• Senior Researcher — conducting research in the field of language and literature.
• Literary Scholar — carrying out scientific analysis and research of literary works.
