About Andijan State University:
Andijan State University named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur begins its history in 1931. First, it was a branch of the Fergana Pedagogical Institute, in 1939 it became a teacher's institute, and then in 1953 it became the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute. It was transformed into Andijan State University.
Today, the university has 11 faculties, such as Philology, Natural Sciences, History, Social Economy, Pedagogy, Physics and Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Physical Culture, Art Science, Information Technologies, Preschool Education, as well as 37 departments.
More than 20,341 full-time and part-time students study in 55 bachelor's courses, and more than 527 students study in 26 master's specialties.
The material and technical base of the university is getting stronger. Currently, the number of classNamerooms in 6 educational buildings is 252 and is intended for more than 6570 students. The total area of study-laboratory rooms is 45,883 square meters, and the useful area per student is 4.5 square meters.
2 information resource centers, 26 computer rooms, 954 computers, 7 student residences with 2000 seats, 6 canteens with 910 seats, 2 canteens, 13 outdoor and 3 All indoor sports fields are for students and serve to develop them into highly moral, knowledgeable, physically fit, mature personnel in all respects.
Entry requirements:
Participation in state exams organized by BMB(DTM).
The applicant shall register and take back with him/her the original copies of the following documents to the admissions committee of the higher education institution:
- passport (if it is not there, or form 09, or birth certificate);
- a document on completion of general secondary education (on the basis of the 11th grade) or secondary special vocational education institution (with an attachment);
- if there is a privilege, a document confirming it.
A set of documents required for a master's degree:
-passport information is entered;
- the original copy of the document on higher education (or an extract from the diploma - for those who graduated from the higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan on a state grant) and an appendix are included in the prescribed manner;
-Eligibility document (if any): certificate of the holder of state scholarships and state awards or certificates of the level of knowledge of foreign languages.
University grants:
Grants are available at the university. State grants are allocated to talented students who have obtained high marks in the entrance exams. These grants are awarded for one academic year only, and students admitted on the basis of a contract have the opportunity to study the grant in subsequent academic years.
University Scholarship:
Students studying on the basis of a state grant:
The basic amount of the scholarship is paid in the 1st semester of the first year;
- Starting from the next semester, depending on the results of the previous semester, the scholarship will be awarded and paid in the following order:
- Students with excellent performance in all subjects will be paid with a 20% increase in the basic amount of the scholarship;
- Scholarships will not be awarded to students who satisfactorily mastered 30% or more of their general subjects, i.e. scored less than 71 points. With the exception of orphans and children deprived of parental care and students with group 1 and 2 disabilities;
- All other students receiving education on the basis of a state grant will be paid the basic amount of the scholarship.
Scholarships are awarded and paid to students studying on the basis of a payment contract in the following order:
- Contract students can study with or without a scholarship;
- The basic amount of the stipend will be paid to those under the contract, regardless of the mastery rate.
- The stipend will be assigned and paid after the contract amount has been paid.
Scholarships are paid for students with group I and II disabilities in the following order:
- Students with group I and II disabilities are assigned and paid a stipend 50% higher than the base amount of the stipend, regardless of whether they study on a grant or a contract;
- Students who belong to the group of orphans and children deprived of parental care, who are fully supported by the state, are assigned and paid a scholarship in the basic amount of the scholarship.
University dormitory:
The university has a dormitory. Currently, the university has 6 student residences, the total capacity of which is 3532 places. Currently, 3532 students live there.
International cooperation:
Andijan State University has established cooperation with more than 50 universities of the world, and signed agreements on active cooperation with 28 of them. In particular, London Metropolitan University, Norwich University (Great Britain), Dalnevostok State Technical University, Yaroslav State University, Institute of Optics and Optical Technologies of Novosibirsk State Academy of Geodesy (Russia), Seoul National University, Woosuk University (South Korea), Tohiko University, Tokyo language teaching center, Asia Pacific University (Japan), Central Nations University (China), Meiss University, J. Guttenberg University (Germany), University of Pisa (Italy), Athens Sociological Scientific Training Center (Greece), Ghent University (Belgium), Gorlovka Institute of Foreign Languages (Ukraine), MARA University of Technology (Malaysia), Hyderabad Institute of Science and Management (India), Almaty University (Kazakhstan) and others. In the future, a project plan is being developed for educational, scientific and practical cooperation with Oslo University of Norway, California University of the USA, Valencia University of Spain, Perm University of Russia, Toulouse University of France, Riga University of Latvia and Brunei Technological University of the Sultanate of Brunei.
