Agroeconomics
Agricultural economics is an applied branch of economics concerned with the application of economic theory to the optimization of the production and distribution of food and fiber products. Agriculture began as a branch of the economy dealing with land use. It focused on maximizing productivity while maintaining a good soil ecosystem.
