Ecology is a set of biological sciences that study systems at different levels above the body; populations, biocenoses, biogeocenoses and the structure of the biosphere, the processes occurring in them. Ecology is also interpreted as the science that studies organisms and the interaction between them and the environment. According to the objects of study, ecology is divided into general and private ecology.

Environmental protection (or nature protection, nature conservation)- a set of measures aimed at limiting the negative impact of human activities on the environment (nature) and preventing its violation.
