About the direction
Energy Engineering is a field within engineering that studies the processes of energy production, transmission, distribution, and efficient utilization.
This field covers the study of electrical power systems, thermal power engineering, renewable energy sources (solar, wind, hydro), energy equipment and installations, operating principles of power plants, energy efficiency, management of energy systems, as well as technologies for the rational use of energy in industry and everyday life.
Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in “Energy Engineering” can work in the following professions:
- Energy Engineer — designing, managing, and improving energy systems
- Electrical Power Engineer — working with systems for electricity generation, transmission, and distribution
- Thermal Power Engineer — managing thermal power plants and heat systems
- Renewable Energy Engineer — working with solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources
- Energy Efficiency Engineer — developing technologies for efficient energy use
- Process Engineer — monitoring technological processes at energy enterprises
- Production Engineer — managing production processes of energy systems and equipment
