It is known that many chemical compounds with pharmacological properties are useless or harmful in their raw form. Pharmaceuticals produce a unique dosage form suitable for the treatment of a specific group of patients with a specific treatment of such a substance, with a route of administration and a method of administration. The term "pharmaceutical" is not synonymous with the term "pharmacy". Quality control (QC) is the process of reviewing the quality of all factors involved in the production of entities. ISO 9000 quality control is defined as "a part of quality management aimed at fulfilling quality requirements".
