About the direction
The Economics (Sustainable Economy and Regional Development) joint study program is a higher education program aimed at studying the principles of sustainable economic development, taking into account regional characteristics. The program includes theories and models of sustainable development, methods of analysis of economic processes at the regional level, as well as tools for regional development planning and management.
Bachelor's training in Economics (Sustainable Economy and Regional Development) is carried out in full-time education in the form of 2+2 (2 years in Uzbekistan and 2 years in Latvia). Training is organized on the basis of the credit-module system.

This program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become economists ready and competitive in national and international labor markets. The curriculum consists of compulsory courses, elective courses and practical training, and provides students with the following knowledge:
