Information about joint education programs of Samarkand branch of Tashkent State University of Economics
Tashkent State University of Economics Samarqand Branch (TDIUSF) was established by the resolution No. 438 of May 28, 2019 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Its main tasks include developing the economic sectors and advanced technologies, along with cooperating with leading universities in Germany, Latvia, and Malaysia to train qualified personnel.
In particular, joint educational programs have been established with the universities of Germany, Latvia, and Malaysia, and currently, a total of 80 students are studying in fields such as "Economics," "Information Systems and Technologies," and "Digital Economics."
Starting from the academic year 2019-2020, a department called "Alignment of Joint Educational Programs with Foreign Universities" was established within the structure of the Samarqand Branch to implement joint educational programs with foreign higher educational institutions. Since 2019, a joint program in "Economics (Food System Management)" with the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf in Germany, and since 2020, joint programs in "Information Systems and Technologies (Digital Control and Sustainable Development)" and "Economics (Sustainable Economics and Regional Development)" with the University of Life Sciences and Technologies of Latvia, and since 2021, a joint program in "Digital Economics (Business Management)" with Lincoln University College in Malaysia have been launched.
