The Department of International Journalism Theory and Practice provides essential knowledge of the theoretical part of journalism along with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
Journalism is a type of social activity. Its participants (journalists) engage in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating social information through public media outlets (print media, radio, television, news agencies, etc.). Journalism is one of the forms of public persuasion and promotion. The essence of journalism depends on the social nature of society. Initially, the term "journalism" referred to a collection of journals, and later it was used in relation to all periodical publications.
