Fruit growing

Fruit growing is an important branch of agriculture that grows fruit, grapes and berries. It serves to meet the needs of the population for fruits and fruit products, and fruit raw materials for the industry. It is divided into pure (growing apples, pears, apricots, cherries and others) and nursery (growing fruit tree seedlings in nurseries). More than 200 types of fruits, berries, and nuts are grown in world horticulture, of which 100 are of industrial importance.

Viticulture is a branch of horticulture that deals with the cultivation of vines and grapes. Viticulture provides the population with raw materials for fresh grapes, raisins, winemaking and canning industries. There are 4 main directions of viticulture: cultivation of table grapes, drying of raisins, cultivation of grapes for technical purposes (preparation of canned products, juices, concentrates), winemaking (preparation of raw materials).
