About university
The State Institute of Physical Education and Sports in Uzbekistan is the only higher education institution in our country that prepares highly qualified specialists and coaches in sports. Due to the need for physical education and the necessity to train local personnel in this field, the Physical Education Technical School was established in Tashkent in 1935.
