University of Innovation Technologies is one of the first non-governmental higher education institutions established in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The university officially began its activities under a state license in November 2022.

Currently, more than 200 professors and lecturers provide education to over 8,000 students and young learners. The educational process is organized in both full-time and part-time formats using modern and innovative teaching methods.

The university collaborates with leading international universities and involves foreign professors and specialists in the academic process. Its primary mission is to prepare highly qualified professionals with innovative thinking and modern knowledge.

The educational process is conducted in accordance with the Law on Education, State Educational Standards, and qualification requirements. Lecture halls and classNameNamerooms are equipped with advanced multimedia technologies, video and audio systems, and distance learning tools. The university also actively implements a credit-module and electronic learning system.

The university places great emphasis on supporting the younger generation, developing well-rounded individuals, and preparing highly qualified pedagogical staff while continuously adapting to modern educational reforms.

In October 2024, the university received “Reporter” status in the “Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025.” In addition, according to the “UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2024,” the university ranked 1364th among more than 30,000 higher education institutions worldwide and 50th among universities in Uzbekistan.

To further strengthen academic and scientific potential, the university introduced a scientific title awarding system in cooperation with the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan starting from January 2024.

In 2024, the university organized both a national conference in Nukus and an international conference in Samarkand. Students of the university also actively participated in innovative and technological competitions, including the “Techno Ways” technology marathon.

According to the order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, four students of the university were awarded state scholarships in 2024.

Today, the university maintains international cooperation partnerships with 21 higher education institutions across 12 countries worldwide.
