About Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology:
Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology is a prominent center of science and knowledge of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan, and occupies a worthy place among the higher educational institutions of the current Central Asian countries. Because the history of the institute over the past 45 years is closely related to the glorious path of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, a prestigious place where specialists were trained not only in Uzbekistan, but also in the entire Central Asia, but also in a wider geographical region. is liq. The team of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, the Ministry of Higher Education, and many outstanding dedicated scientists played a significant role in the founding of the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology, its development and development into a mature scientific center. has a contribution. In particular, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 212 dated July 25, 2011, the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Economics (NamMII) was transformed into the Namangan Engineering and Technology Institute (NamMTI).
Procedure for admission of students to the institute:
Admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out according to the rating system of points collected according to the results of entrance exams (tests, professional (creative) exam, written exam) by the State Commission.
Procedure for admission of foreign citizens to higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
Admission of foreign citizens to higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On improving the procedure of admission and training of foreign citizens to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to the decision:
- foreign citizens are admitted to the bachelor's program of higher educational institutions according to the results of the interview conducted in accordance with the procedure established by the Higher Education Institution;
- foreign citizens with education in accordance with general secondary or secondary special, vocational education can be admitted to higher educational institutions;
- the cost of training foreign citizens on a fee-contract basis is less than the amount of the basic fee-contract established by the higher education institution for the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the relevant bachelor's degree and master's specialty is determined in the amount of no.
Grants:
The institute has state grants. Grants are available at the university. State grants are allocated to talented students who have obtained high marks in the entrance exams. These grants are awarded for one academic year only, and students admitted on the basis of a contract have the opportunity to study the grant in subsequent academic years.

The basic amount of the scholarship is paid in the 1st semester of the first year;
- Starting from the next semester, depending on the results of the previous semester, the scholarship will be assigned and paid in the following order:
- Students with excellent performance in all subjects will be paid with a 20% increase in the basic amount of the scholarship;
- Scholarships will not be awarded to students who satisfactorily mastered 30% or more of their general subjects, i.e. scored less than 71 points. With the exception of orphans and children deprived of parental care and students with group 1 and 2 disabilities;
- All other students receiving education on the basis of a state grant will be paid the basic amount of the scholarship.
Scholarships are awarded and paid to students studying on the basis of a payment contract in the following order:
- Contract students can study with or without a scholarship;
- The basic amount of the stipend will be paid to those under the contract, regardless of the mastery rate.
- The stipend will be assigned and paid after the contract amount has been paid.
Scholarships are paid for students with group I and II disabilities in the following order:
- Students with group I and II disabilities are assigned and paid a stipend 50% higher than the base amount of the stipend, regardless of whether they study on a grant or a contract;
- Students who belong to the category of orphans and children deprived of parental care, who are fully supported by the state, are assigned and paid a scholarship in the basic amount of the scholarship.
