About the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture:

The Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture is a higher education institution accredited by the state, which provides education in the field of professional training and awards state-standard diplomas to graduates in two stages of higher education (bachelor's and master's). The institute was established based on the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 4, 2012, No. 1771, as a merger of the Tashkent State Institute of Culture and the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts.

The institute is considered a higher education institution of its kind, which trains specialists in various fields directly related to culture and art. The educational process at the institute is conducted in accordance with the requirements of science and art, creative activities, and practical technologies. The institute has 4 faculties and 21 departments, where students can study in 20 different disciplines and 15 specializations in Uzbek and Russian languages. The institute prepares specialists in acting and directing, art and theater studies, vocal directing and cinematography, folk art, and the management of cultural and art institutions.

Document Acceptance for 2023-2024 will continue from June 20 to July 20.

Student Accommodation (Dormitories):

There are 2 dormitories on the institute's premises, designed to accommodate a total of 678 students.

In Dormitory 1, 378 students are accommodated. Among them, 268 are male students and 119 are female students.

In Dormitory 2, a total of 293 female students are accommodated.

The monthly fee for accommodation in each dormitory is 202,500 Uzbekistani Som.

In Dormitories 1 and 2, convenient conditions have been created for the students, and the material and technical base of the dormitories has been renovated and reconstructed in January 2022 with the support of the institute's rector, I. Yuldashev. Each room is equipped with new wardrobes and desks, bookshelves, modern beds with 1 or 2 floors, dishes for eating, and supplies for clothing, such as mattresses, blankets, new curtains and pillows.

Each dormitory at the institute is provided with 2 refrigerators, laundry rooms with washing machines, ironing rooms, and designated areas for drying clothes.

Additionally, the dormitories have cultural rooms, libraries, and recreational areas with comfortable furniture, shelves, book supplies, TVs, and tables and chairs.

Two educators are responsible for monitoring the students' lives in the dormitories. In addition, permanent supervisors and mentors are present in the entrance posts of the dormitories. Exit and entry permits are issued for the students' access to the dormitories. CCTV cameras regularly monitor the corridors of each dormitory.

Various competitions and events are regularly organized among the students residing in the dormitories of our institute. Each student lives in a comfortable and memorable environment in the dormitories.
