The Karakalpakstan Medical Institute was established in 1956 with the aim of training scientific personnel in the field of medicine in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This institute was upgraded from a secondary and vocational college to an institute and is recognized as one of the leading scientific centers in the field of medicine in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Karakalpakstan Medical Institute has been guided by the Tashkent Medical Institute in terms of providing methodological support, student exchange, and improving specialization.

Каракалпакский медицинский институт был создан в 1956 году с целью подготовки научных кадров в области медицины Республики Каракалпакстан. Этот институт, признанный одним из крупных научных центров в области медицины Республики Узбекистан, был переведен из уровня среднего и профессионального колледжа в уровень института. Методическая поддержка, оказанная Каракалпакским медицинским институтом, Ташкентским медицинским институтом, направленная на студенческий обмен и повышение квалификации.

Qoraqalpog'iston Tibbiyot Instituti, Qoraqalpog'iston Respublikasi tibbiyot sohasida ilmiy kadrlarni tayyorlash maqsadida 1956 yilda tashkil etilgan. Ushbu institut, O'zbekiston Respublikasi tibbiyot sohasida yirik ilmiy markazlardan biri sifatida tan erkak, o'rtacha va kasb-hunar kolleji darajasidan institut darajasiga o'tkazildi. Qoraqalpog'iston Tibbiyot Instituti, Toshkent Tibbiyot Instituti tomonidan ko'rsatilgan metodologik yordam berish, talabalar almashish va mutaxassislikni oshirishga yo'naltirilgan.
