About university

TEAM University is the first private entrepreneurial university in Uzbekistan based on an innovative approach. The university was founded in Tashkent in 2020, and its main goal is to equip young people with modern knowledge and practical skills, preparing them as future leading entrepreneurs and business professionals.

In a short time, TEAM University has achieved the following achievements:

● International partnership: Cooperation with leading British educational institutions has been established, including LSBU (London South Bank University) on the basis of academic programs.

● Practical education: Studying at the university is more focused on practice than theory. Students work on real projects, create startups, and actively participate in the business environment.

● Entrepreneurial environment: TEAM pays great attention to the development of innovative thinking, creativity, and leadership competencies.


Quota (number of students admitted)

Each year, TEAM University selects an average of 150–170 students, which ensures a high-quality and individual approach.


Minimum admission requirements

Students are selected for admission to TEAM University based on the following requirements:

English language:

○ No entrance exam is taken for applicants with an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.

○ If the applicant does not know English, there are Uzbek or Russian language options. Applicants for these options must take an entrance exam in mathematics.


Entrance exams:

○ An English language test is taken for applicants who do not meet the English language requirements (if their English level is low).

○ The mathematics exam is common to all areas, and applicants are required to take this exam.


Dormitory Availability

There are currently no dormitories available for TEAM University students. However, students are provided with support to help them find accommodation on the university campus.


Are there scholarships or not?

TEAM University does not currently offer scholarships. However, there are grant programs offered in various areas, through which applicants have the opportunity to reduce the cost of studying.


What contracts are there with foreign countries (2+2 or 3+1 or 1+3) - exchange programs:

TEAM University offers several opportunities within the framework of international cooperation:

London South Bank University (LSBU) is one of TEAM's main international partners.

Students can continue their studies in the following ways:

● Study at LSBU for 1 semester or 1 year (exchange program)

● Participate in short-term summer courses and develop English, gain new experience


Is there a job opportunity, is there support from the university?

TEAM University students have access to employment opportunities, and we support them in this path from their first year.

Career Center is a special center operating at our university that helps our students with:

● Preparing a CV and motivation letter

● Preparing for an interview

● Providing information about vacancies

● Assistance in finding an internship and job


TEAM University also has a number of partner companies. Through them, our students have the opportunity to work while studying - this is a great opportunity to gain real experience!

Grants

Startup Challenge: Hackathon organized by TEAM University is an intensive 48-hour startup marathon, where participants must develop a business idea from scratch in a short period of time. Each team will consist of 4 people and their activities will be monitored and mentored by experienced entrepreneurs and business experts.

At the end of the hackathon, the teams will present their projects to the jury. The evaluation process will be attended by successful entrepreneurs, businessmen of Uzbekistan, as well as co-founders of TEAM University - Zafar Khashimov, Hikmat Abdurahmonov and other well-known experts.

Grants of up to 10 million soums will be provided to the members of the teams that took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the hackathon competition among students who applied for the fall 2023 admission.


Academic Merit-Based Scholarships

TEAM University annually awards academic scholarships to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance during their studies. These scholarships are awarded to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students based on their academic performance in the previous academic year.


Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:

● Top 2% of students receive a 70% tuition fee scholarship.

● Next 4% of students receive a 50% tuition fee scholarship.


Available discounts and financial assistance:

TEAM University offers the following discounts and financial assistance:

● 15% discount for applicants with IELTS 6.0+ or ​​60+ points in the entrance exam

● 30% discount for applicants with IELTS 7.0+ or ​​70+ points in the entrance exam


TEAM University Grants Funded by Partner Companies

TEAM University offers a number of grants that partially or fully cover tuition fees. These scholarships are funded by partner companies and the amount of grants can be up to 100%. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis, decided and awarded by the relevant company organization.


Government Grants

Government scholarships are sponsored by government agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan to recognize first-year students for their high academic achievements and social activity.

Government grants cover 100% of tuition fees for a full 4-year course. The awarding of these scholarships is based on the decision of the Government Selection Panel established by the relevant government body. Candidates will be required to successfully pass a special English language exam scheduled to be held in September 2025. Selection criteria and other detailed information will be published on TEAM University’s official social media accounts, including Telegram, Instagram, and Facebook.
