About university
Established in 2021, the Tashkent University of Applied Sciences (TAFU) has quickly gained the attention of youth thanks to its modern educational approach, strong faculty, and convenient infrastructure. Today, TAFU has 7 modern campuses in Tashkent and ranks among the leading universities in the country in terms of student enrollment.
At TAFU, education is not focused on theory but on real-life preparation. Each student spends 1–2 days a week interning at a company or organization related to their field. This enables them to gain work experience during their studies and improves their chances of employment. Many of our students start working in banks, companies, and institutions before graduation.
The university provides a spacious and fully equipped dormitory for its students.
While monthly stipends are not offered, grants are available to help talented students cover tuition fees. Additionally, the university prepares candidates for prestigious national merit scholarships — in 2024, 7 students were awarded these scholarships.
TAFU cooperates with several leading universities worldwide. Official agreements have been signed with institutions in Germany, Estonia, Korea, Poland, and Latvia.
Currently, classNameNameNameNameNameNameNamees are taught by international faculty members. Student exchange programs with foreign universities are also planned in the coming years.
The educational system at the Tashkent University of Applied Sciences is designed to help students become professionals in their field and find employment as quickly as possible. Each student undergoes weekly internships (1–2 days per week), allowing them to gain hands-on experience and secure jobs during their studies. Many of our students begin working in banks, companies, and organizations before graduating.
Grants
TAFU offers a “Rector’s Grant”, covering 100% or 50% of the tuition fee. These grants are awarded starting from the second year based on students’ academic performance, activity, and dedication.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, applicants can receive discounts of up to 25%:
- 15% discount – for applicants who successfully pass the entrance exam
- 10% discount – for full upfront payment of the annual tuition fee
- 10% discount – if multiple students from the same family are enrolled
- 10% discount – for current year graduates of schools, lyceums, or colleges
