About university
Tashkent University of Applied Sciences is an innovative higher education institution that combines modern education with real-world practical experience.
The main goal of UTAS is to prepare students not only as graduates with diplomas, but also as professionals ready for the labor market. Therefore, the educational process at the university is not limited to theory alone: students spend 1–2 days a week gaining practical experience in companies and organizations related to their field of study. This allows them to build experience during their studies and create a strong foundation for their future careers.
In addition, the university is implementing an exchange program with Lincoln University College. Partnership relations are also being developed with universities in Germany, Estonia, South Korea, Poland, and Latvia.
The university provides all the necessary conditions for receiving a modern education. UTAS students have access to scholarship programs, discounts, and various benefits.

TAFU offers a “Rector’s Grant”, covering 100% or 50% of the tuition fee. These grants are awarded starting from the second year based on students’ academic performance, activity, and dedication.
