Tashkent Humanities University bases its work on preparing specialists considering the advantages of its programs and the constantly growing demand for qualified personnel during the transition to a market economy, cooperating with foreign universities on the principles of “respect for national and universal values, joint use of resources, complementary advantages, mutually beneficial cooperation, and joint development,” and also in accordance with the rules for admitting international students.

TGFU promotes the internationalization of higher education based on the principles of “peace and cooperation, openness and tolerance, mutual learning, mutual interest,” deepens cooperation with domestic and foreign universities in the field of education, and creates an educational platform for joint training of qualified personnel and for teaching students in bachelor’s programs in social, economic, and management sciences.

Students at our university have the opportunity to study not only in the country but also abroad. In particular, bachelor students can continue their studies abroad on a scholarship after the second year. They can study in China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Italy, and other countries.

Tashkent Humanities University collaborates with many foreign universities. Every year, talented students are sent to partner universities for study on a scholarship basis.

Currently, more than 5,000 students study at Tashkent Humanities University. More than 80 faculty members and instructors are employed. The administrative building of the university is located in Tashkent, and there are also campuses in Tortkul and Samarkand.

The university has established the Education Development Fund and centers for language and culture research. In addition, the university offers preparatory courses in Chinese, Korean, English, and Russian. The main goal of creating the Education Development Fund is to encourage and financially support faculty and students, assist in the scientific and creative activities of faculty and students, publish textbooks and teaching aids, provide scholarships, and organize various cultural and educational events, among other activities.

We are on the verge of constructing the Tashkent campus of Tashkent Humanities University. On the campus grounds, it is planned to build academic buildings, a library, a school and kindergarten affiliated with the university, a stadium, dormitories for faculty and students, cafeterias, supermarkets, and other buildings. Our main goal is to create the best working conditions for faculty and the best learning environment for students.

The university team plans in the near future to increase the international reputation of the university and place it among the world’s leading higher education institutions.

Student Dormitory:

At the beginning of 2023, a modern three-story dormitory with 500 places was built and commissioned for students of the Tashkent campus. The dormitory provides all necessary conditions for students’ living. In spacious, bright, and cozy rooms, students feel at home. Each floor has separate kitchens, showers, and laundry rooms. There is also a special study and reading room. For student convenience, the dormitory is equipped with modern household appliances. In each room, in addition to beds, there is an air conditioner, 2–3 wardrobes, and a desk with chairs. Each floor has a kitchen with a refrigerator, 4 electric stoves, an electric kettle, and a microwave. Each shower area has washing machines installed.

Housing issues are a major concern for most students and their parents, and the continuous increase in rental fees creates difficulties. Tashkent Humanities University, considering these circumstances, built a dormitory for students. Currently, each university campus has its own dormitory. The Tortkul campus has a three-story dormitory building with 220 places. At the Samarkand campus, the construction of a student dormitory along with an academic building is planned.
