Tashkent Chemical Technological University (TCTU), previously known as the Yeodju Technical Institute,was established as the first specialized higher education institution in Uzbekistan under the supervision of the State Inspectorate for Education Quality Control of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 24, 2018, with the government license number of OT 0002 (033297). It was granted the status of the first specialized higher education institution in the country under the decree №1007 by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 17, 2019, based on its activities. In addition, in 2022, TCTU became the first non-state higher education institution in Uzbekistan to be accredited by the IQAA and KAZSEE agencies, in accordance with the international accreditation program.
1. Can diplomas be obtained in Uzbekistan?
All diplomas issued by Tashkent Chemical Technological University are fully recognized in Uzbekistan and internationally. The university is licensed by the government according to the №1007-decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 17, 2019. Furthermore, TCTU has obtained certificates on the accreditation of educational programs from IQAA and KAZSEE agencies.
2. Do I have to pay to register and take the entrance examination?
No, there is no payment required for registration or taking the entrance examination.
3. Is there an installment plan available for the tuition fee?
Upon successful completion of the entrance examination, 50% of the tuition fee must be paid in advance as stipulated in the contract, with the remaining amount paid in installments during the first semester.
4. Is the curriculum at TCTU well-developed?
The curriculum is developed in accordance with international standards, taking into account the requirements of key employers.
5. Is the academic process based on the credit-modular system?
Yes, this system allows students to participate in various international joint educational programs and obtain dual diplomas at leading universities in Europe and South Korea.
6. Which foreign higher education institutions is TCTU partnering with?
TCTU is partnering with Hanyang University, Chung Cheong University, Gachon University, Chosun University, Jeonju University, Namseoul University in South Korea, United Business Institutes in Belgium, Varna Management University in Bulgaria, Yildiz Technical University in Turkey, and University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom.
7. Who conducts the educational and academic activities at TCTU?
International and local professors and teachers who graduated from prestigious universities in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia.
8. Is there a scholarship available?
Each academic year, scholarships are awarded by sponsors to talented and socially vulnerable students who are enrolled at TCTU from the second year of their studies.
