About Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent:
Turin Polytechnic University (TTPU) in the city of Tashkent on April 27, 2009 by the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP 1106 of April 27, 2009 and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzavtosanoat OJSC and Turin, Italy was established in accordance with the tripartite Agreement dated January 10, 2009 in cooperation with the Polytechnic University (Politecnico di Torino) in order to provide organizations and enterprises in the field of automobile engineering, machine engineering, energy industry, architecture with highly qualified specialists.
Admission to Turin Polytechnic University for 2024-2025:
Entrance exams are divided into three categories according to the results:
Category 1: Applicants who have correctly answered more than 80 percent of the general test questions will continue their studies on the basis of GRANT.
Category 2: Those who score more than or equal to 25% of the total test questions but less than 80% are admitted on direct contract basis.
Category 3: Applicants who score below 25% of the total test questions have not passed the entry threshold and are therefore placed on a "waitlist". If one of those recommended for studentship refuses to be admitted to study, it is recommended to be admitted to the university instead.
Exchange Programs:
Through student exchange programs at the university, students have the opportunity to study abroad for 1 or 2 semesters. Just one example, in 2022, about 90 of our students had the opportunity to study at the Politecnico di Torino University in Italy. At the same time, the management course was created in partnership with the Pittsburgh State University of the United States, and students of this course can continue their studies in the United States after passing certain academic requirements. Students have the opportunity to study in Poland, Korea, Germany, and South Korea.
Dormitory of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent :
The student dormitory of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent is a 4-story building, and all the necessary conditions have been created for the living of students from distant regions of our country and foreign countries. The rooms in the student accommodation are equipped with all the necessary equipment: washing machines, a stove, a microwave oven, a dining room. There is also a library and Wi-Fi points in the hostel for students to spend their free time usefully. Regular work is being carried out on the introduction of advanced communication technologies, updating and replenishment of the material and technical support of the dormitory in the university dormitory. There is also a separate dormitory located on the territory of the university with all the necessary conditions for living of foreign professors and teachers.
